Nihon Cyber Defence (NCD) (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Cartan McLaughlin), a company pioneering sovereign cyber technology in Japan, today announced the appointment of Ambassador Dr. Sergiy Korsunsky—former Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan—as Senior Advisor. Dr. Korsunsky brings decades of leadership in diplomacy, national strategy, and economic security, with a distinguished record of service in Japan, the United States, and Turkey.

I look forward to contributing to NCD’s mission to defend national infrastructure and economic stability through informed, proactive engagement. It is crucial to develop security cooperation between Japan and Ukraine, and other partners to defend peace and freedom.”

— Dr. Sergiy Korsunsky

“Ambassador Korsunsky’s experience navigating diplomacy, security, and economic policy at the highest levels is unmatched. His insights will help guide NCD’s role in supporting Japan’s cyber sovereignty and reinforce our commitment to trusted, globally informed defence solutions.”
